Case Study – Headshots for Tweezerman UK Ltd

I was contacted by Ajay Sethi, the CEO of Tweezerman UK Ltd, as he’d won a Special Industry Awards at the 2025 CEW UK Achiever Awards and needed a headshot for the promotional material and memento brochure.

He had a hard deadline to meet and in order to meet that I headed over to his offices on the Saturday morning prior to it. I took my mobile studio that comprises of –

2 x Neweer Vision 4 300-watt flashes & Trigger

1 x Life of Photo White & Black Reversible Backdrop

1 x Pixapro Ricebowl 105S Light Modifier

1 x 24-inch Rectangular Light Modifier (not used on this occasion)

8 x Umi 4.5-inch Nylon Spring Clamps

1 x Phot-R Reflector

1 x Ikea Stool (not used on this occasion)

1 x Collapsable Step

1 x Camera – Nikon D810

1 x Lens – AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm F2.8G ED

I set the lighting up using one flash as the main light using the Ricebowl modifier while the second was set off to one side and behind the subject to be used as a hair light.

Having seen how outstanding Ajay’s offices are, I wanted to use that in the images. So, in addition to the regular headshot, we took a couple of him sat on a desk with the fabulous office backdrop then we moved to the company’s “Show Off Room” which features all their products.
