Recently I was commissioned by Forever Stars Charity to take some images of their players in their fancy new strip, sponsored by HA Construction Services Ltd.
Before the guys took to the pitch to warm up and then play a match, which they won incidentally, I had a few moments to get a shot or two of each player, no mean feat, especally as we were in a public bar with other people milling around and just inside the doorway that led to the loos!!
I had taken along my backdrop frame and a 3 meter long strip of white vinyl which I got the guys to stand on so I could get full lenght images.
Instead of just sending images on the white, I decided that I’d like to try to create a version of a football trading card, sort of Panini style, if you know what I mean. The logo was supplied and the background is AI generated but the players were as shot on the day. They were all good sports and played along with all my daft ideas to create a unique selection of pieces which I am proud of and hopefully, they are too.
As you can see from the header image, I took some in-action shots too and a shot with the trophy they were awared by former Nottingham Forest and FSFC supporter, Nigel Jemson.
